11th May 2024
11am - 4pm
Over the Rainbow Cafe - High Street
FREE, Drop-in

Join Georgia Osborn for this drop-in workshop to explore all things collage, zine making and journalling. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced maker, this session is accessible for all ages and abilities to create personal pieces of art using a range of materials.

What’s a zine?
ZINE (n), pronounced “zeen”:
A zine is a self-published, non-commercial print-work that is typically produced in small, limited batches. Zines are created and bound in many DIY ways. They may be sewn, taped, glued, or even exist in unbound and other non-folio formats. The main rule is that there are no rules!

“Ever wanted to learn how to make your own zine? Join us for this drop in workshop to learn how to make your own zine and create your own unique creative pieces! Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned maker, this drop in session is accessible for all ages and abilities.”

For the workshop, Georgia will have some pre-made zines that participants can fill in, whilst others can make their own from scratch and handy zines that are guides, so those not taking part can pick these up to take home!
