WOWser The Big Picture

11th May 2024

Minster Gardens
FREE, Drop-in

In today’s world, the simple act of walking alone can feel daunting, especially for girls. Our WOWsers 2024 project, is not just an art installation; it’s a powerful narrative woven through creativity, aiming to shed light on fears and challenges girls face when navigating public spaces.

Join our WOWser group to allow women and girls to feel empowered through the universal language of art and add your own positivity to the bigger picture. Interactive exhibition, free for all.

Our WOWser 2024 group is formed up of young women from the Bill Chafer Youth Centre in Bramley. The project has been entirely designed and delivered by young people attending these sessions at the centre.

The Children’s Capital of Culture team have worked with Bill Chafer Youth Centre on this inspiring project. In 2025, Rotherham will become the world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture, devised, designed, and delivered by children and young people.

Check out our website for more exciting opportunities as we venture towards 2025!
