The WOW Marketplace is in the heart of every WOW Festival across the world. Completely free to visit for the public, you can explore diverse women and non-binary-led businesses and activist organisations. It’s open 11am-4pm so just pop along and say hi!

Meet the Stall Holders:
Nesh (Kate Woodfield) is a range of bright, soft knitted accessories including structured bags on a 1970’s knitting machine. These include wrist, leg and ear warmers, snoods, baubles, mittens as well as purses, bumbags, handbags and laptop sleeves.

Love, Azaria (Azaria) is a small business focusing on creativity and making woman feel good. Specialising in upcycling synthetic pieces, Azaria uses collage and textile techniques to bring a new lease of life into the garment.

Side Farm Flowers (Liz Baxter) grows sustainable, local British flowers without pesticides and a few plants and related gifting products – all natural based, no plastic! We will have fresh homegrown bunches of flowers in the main, flowers in bud vases and car cup holder friendly flower filled jam jars which we will be personalised specifically for WOW, some giftware – all natural things, seagrass bowls, pots, vases, ceramic message hearts, home crafted flower fairies, ceramic toadstools, potted houseplants, planters for the garden, planted living wreaths, etc. We will be getting with the festival vibe by providing a pop up make your own flower crown workshop.

Doodle Spook Shop (Jesse) – I started my shop as a way to pass the time during lockdown as I’ve always loved to draw. I aim to bring cute, colourful and silly illustrations to life as various products, and honestly, just have fun while doing so!

Rainbow Honour (Alex) – we sell art for LGBTQIA+ people and people who have disabilities and mental health. We encourage individuality, kindness and inclusivity for all. We are sufferers ourselves with mental health and disabilities so we speak from a personal point of view. We engage with our customers to understand their needs. We are both nonbinary people. We sell prints, stickers and badges that are inspired by anime, cartoons and video games. We use slogans to put across our inspirational messages.

Ohemaa Jewellery Designs (Dorothy Arhin) is an independent jewellery brand I founded in 2017. Inspired by a love for geo-architecture, nature and colour, to create beautiful jewellery to inspire boldness and confidence through fashion. Ohemaa Jewellery Designs is committed to exceptional craftsmanship and to creating pieces that last. Therefore, every piece of jewellery is meticulously made from non-irritant and hypoallergenic materials, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free experience for all, especially those with sensitive ears. Jewellery pieces include earrings, rings and necklaces and are designed to be worn day and night.

Rotherham Pride (Matt) – our amazing group of volunteers are relighting the flame for the LGBTQIA+ community of Rotherham. After 5 years, we are bringing Pride back to the town with what’s set to be the largest pride event that the town has ever seen on the 8th July in All Saints’ Square from 11am. To celebrate and support our diverse community, we don’t just offer a one day event but a year round community through our social network Pride Pals. We operate our own safe space, currently holding socials every other week. Come along for a chatter and a natter or speak to our team and explore their wealth of knowledge.
