What is Urgent Conversations?:

Every day, it feels like we wake up to something new to respond to, a new urgent conversation to have. With the news agenda and world events changing at such rapid speed, our speakers and panels explore the most up to date and recent happenings that affect our communities right now.

The Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Panel:

Avoid travelling alone, avoid walking down paths that are poorly lit, avoid carrying too many things. As winter approaches and we come 4pm darkness, we worry about ourselves and others getting from A to B. Those power walks to the station, the double look over your shoulder to make sure you’re not being followed and the white knuckles from holding your keys in your pocket. The speakers will share their lived experiences on street safety, and what is being done in Rotherham to tackle it.
