Four women dressed in bright colours with flamboyant funky headpieces use dance-theatre to  challenge the narrative of what it means to be a woman and bring to public attention the resilience  and strength of women. 

The colours & aesthetic of the KAH’LOCA costumes symbolise a desire for everyone to have their  own voice, to speak out, be bold and step up for themselves, empowering the harmed and  shaping once mute spaces. A combination of voices, classical guitar song, gritty percussive  sounds and protests creates the overall soundscape, overlapping with the breath of the dancers  in motion to create a multi-sensory live performance which celebrates female strength and  resilience. 

Under the artistic direction of Laura Kenyon, WomanEwer provides a connection between women  through the arts and offers a safe space to explore ideas around female empowerment, survival  and resilience using movement, voice and visual art.
