What is Funky Fans?

Funky Fans is a workshop where you can design, decorate and style your fans alongside the theme of Body Positivity. Have a go at making a colourful funky fan styled to suit you and celebrate everything about you during what could be a potential heat wave!

Come along as you can either express yourself with colours or just write words, as we welcome women, girls and their families to have a good time designing fans.  

A place where you can feel good, feel incredible and feel free!

More about the Artist:

Kate Sully is a visual mixed media artist, facilitator and project manager based in South Yorkshire. Though she embarked on a Ceramics degree before continuing her education completing a MA in Fine Art, Kate has always had a different approach to materials and process.

Collaborating with the University of Sheffield, she has used cutting edge science to source her work. Creating new ideas with a focus on large scale abstract paintings!
