The clothes swap will be an opportunity to:

–       Gather together up to 10 items of good quality clothing you no longer wear. It can be children’s or adult clothing (no underwear or swimwear please)  

–       Bring them along to the swap between 11am – 3.30pm on Saturday 11th March

–       “Check in” your items. Exchange your items for tokens. One item = One token

–       Browse the rails, choose new-to-you items and “check out” your items. One token per item.

–       You don’t have to use all your tokens. If you find more items on the rails that you can exchange with tokens, we ask for a £2 donation per item, to donate to a local charity.

–       Any items left at the end of the swap will be donated to a local charity.

This event is run in partnership with Thread Republic, Kirklees-based textile practitioners, who were brought together by a shared love for textiles and a desire to bring people together around the topics of enhancing sustainability in the industry and greater well-being in our local communities through shared creativity.  For more details visit www.threadrepublic.co.uk
